I have a GE side-by-side refrigerator model no. TFX30PPZC AA that is not getting water to the ice maker. My 1st assumption would be the dual water valve that feeds the door water and ice maker is failing on the ice maker side (unit part no 795). The door water dispenser is working fine. Can anyone tell me if this plan of action is correct?

You could be correct. Check valve by removing output tubing from valve and see if you get water coming out the valve. If you get water, search the appliance form for similar problems with GE refrigerator/freezer ice maker and water dispenser problems. There have numerous postings about water lines freezing in certain models.

The door water dispenser is working fine This tells me that the valve and supply line is OK and working. I'm moving your thread over to appliances where we have experts in this field. Best of luck, Tom,
