I'm a single mom and don't really have a clue when you say "replace the line". Are you saying the whole line or replace just that area where I see the pinhole leak?

I thought I could replace the line on my LG, but the line goes into Styrofoam at the top (toward the water filter) and then goes into the inside of the fridge at the bottom. I do not see any places where I can unscrew the line.

Use crazy glue then seal with water proof tape { turn off water & dry tubing first }
Waterproof tape is expensive but cheaper than a plumber

Not really good advice by Rajahdex... especially on a plumbing page!

Best advice is to replace the line OR cut out the bad section and fix using simple 1/4" compression couplings... super easy to install and also cheaper than a plumber's service call!

I have same problem. Can I get the 1/4" compression couplings in a kit?

Its not a kit, just a thing. Any hardware store, Home Depot, Lowe's should have them.
