Received a voilation of probation for failur to report and pay fines and restaution. Original crime was petity lacerny with 5 years probation. How much jail time will have to be severed for the violation of probation. Have not been in any kind of trouble since being on probation

You could be sentenced to the time you would have received had you not received probation - because you have not paid the fines, made restitution and/or report to your PO I suspect the Court will not give you another chance and extend your probation.

Of course, only a Judge knows 100%.

The reason for not reporting the person had lost their job and was homeless for allite over a year but is just now getting stable and is making payments every week to catch up will they so some lienecy?

I would say no - not unless the person contacted the Court and advised of the changed circumstances, asked for a modification. At that point the Court could have invoked the sentence OR modified the terms of probation.

This does not explain why person did not report.
