I have dark grey patches of skin, on my stomach, groin, hips and just under my breasts. I was given a cream to get rid of them but it did nothing. They have been slowly spreading, to the point where I now have a dark spots along my spine. I would like any idea as to what this might be...

I can't find anything on gray blotches except age spots. It would be best to check with a dermatologist if your regular doctor doesn't know.
I also found a site that says blotches that appear after taking a shower can be from yeast in which you would want to follow a diet for candida and cut out eating sugar.
But don't switch to artificial sweetener.

My ex boyfriend used to get gray spots on his skin. It turned out to be yeast infections on the skin. He used the canestin cream and it cleared up after a few days. However, I would want to check with a dermatologist as well.
