No, you must use a GFI breaker.

You can go this route though: Spa Disconnect GFCI Load Center, 240V up to 60A (http://www.spadepot.com/shop/Spa-GFCI-Load-Center-up-to-60A-P9279C193.aspx)

I read this as being a bath tub whirlpool. A spa disconnect would be very convenient if it is.
Ace, is this a spa/hot tub, or is it a bath tub?

Most whirlpool tubs are 120 vac 20 amp so I am thinking hot tub.

I have definitely seen 240v-20A bath tub heaters and motors.
I have never seen a 240v-20A hot tub.
I also am not trying to imply that I have seen it all either. :p ;)

I am talking about a whirlpool bath tub. I guess that just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.LOL:D
