Hi. I was planning to buy the professional online Armor , and the
Premium Avira for maximum security of my laptop.
However, I have been told that the prem. Avira have a web-guard, and the
Pro OA has also webshield, which do the same job. So, if they did not
Conflict, you are buying the same service twice.
Is it true that webshield of OA and webguard of Avira do the same job ?
If yes, which one of them is better and more secure to buy it ?
I hope they are complementary so that I can buy both, but I don't want
To waste money to buy the same feature.

ONLY run ONE active scanner on your system at a time otherwise they will cause serious instability and usability issues.
Web-guard and webshield are simply two different names for the same, or similar, process.
You will need an antivirus as well as anti-malware scanners.
Separate applications are a better idea, as the "all in one" scanners have some issues.
I have yet to find a single solution that does the job well.

For AV, the choice is very open and your own, but for anti-malware I would heartily recommend Malwarebytes, best of all the standard is FREE.

You know that the free editions of these software don't have
The web-shield, web-guard.

BUT the paid for edition of Malwarebytes does have web protection.

As for AV's there's any number around and it's really a case of personal preference.
I'm currently trying out: Immunet - FREE AntiVirus (http://www.immunet.com/) and I must say I'm very impressed.

Cloud based AV, they way to go.

But online Armor is a firewall not anti-malware .
