I was arrested for a dui the beginning of februrary. This is the first time ever being arrested in 27 years. I was put on pretrial supervision before my court date. I took my first UA and came up positive for weed, now the way I understand it is that the first UA is a baseline test. I took a UA again the beginning of April and it came up positive for weed again, but the numbers were lower. I received a letter the other day saying I violated my probation. This is the 1st time. What can I expect? Thanyou for your responses

Were the test results accurate? Were you smoking during this period? If so there may be no way to challenge the test result. If not, there is no violation.

Let me see you kept smoking weed after you were arrested and after you were on probation. No the first test is to see if you are using drugs, and you could be violated for the first test.
They can tell if you had stopped the first time, so why did you have such disrespect for the system that you keep using drugs?
Most likely you will be locked up for a few weeks and then put back on probation after they have your attention better.

To fr-chuck. You need to read a little better. No where did I say I was smoking weed in between the tests. And they cannot violate you the first time, especially when the P.O. tells me it's a baseline test, and that they won't. I have no need for your response christianity exper. Learn how not to judge then I'll listen to your post

I worked in criminal justice for over 20 years, Federal system and State systems, I have put handcuffs on people who told me the same thing, "they said it was just a baseline" if that baseline is way high , showing obvoius drug use, of course they can violate you for it. Your PO may not but if it shows obvoious drug use since the sentencing, they can cuff you on the spot.
You need to get the idea that you are subject to going back to jail at any time. And that PO wants to find a reason to send you back.
Also if you were not still using then that test should be almost down to nothing
