The ignition in my 94 accord (standard) will not turn - I had to stall it to shut the car off, when I hold the clutch or put it in neutral the car will start. The key comes out OK, but will not turn in the ignition - plus the parking light will not come off, I think maybe the emergency brake is also stuck on? What can I do?

Sounds like the ignition switch.

Nothing I can fix on my own before my husband gets home in a few days :) It seems that every time he goes away I break something on one of the vehicles

Be sure brake pedal is depressed, and try applying turning pressure to the steering wheel.
