When I restarted my comp, it froze on the f2 for setup f12 for network boot screen. Pressed f12 and comp restarted perfectly. virus? Startup scripts effed up? :confused:

Does it restart now without problems?

Could be something to keep eye on and watch for anything out of ordinary.

Where you doing anything when you restarted it or just restarted to restart?

An update for itunes I believe, and before that if I restarted it through the start menu it would just show the wallpaper and is still doing that.

Still not understanding, is it restarting now OK or just goes to wallpaper or does not restart and stays on wallpaper?

You can try and run malwarebytes and let it update and do a full scan and remove what it finds, freeware and can't hurt
