Dear Officer,
I'm Pramish Thapa an international student from Nepal. I've been residing in U.S. for last four years with f1 Visa. I'm thinking about going back to Nepal during the fall semester since we've very big festival season going on that time and my father is been ill for a while to so I want to spend some quality time with my Parents and other members of the family. I'm taking 3 credit hour class during the summer time and when I return in spring I'll be full time student and will take summer class onwards too. So I want to know what I've to do. I hope you understand my problem and will try to suggest me a nice way to go over my problem
Regards
Pramish

@ To maintain F-1 status, you must be full time student.

@ If you are going back home, you must get approval from school, with new I-20 endorsed.

@ If you are going back home for more than 5 months, you need to apply for a new F-1 from your home country.
