Fine lines under eyes are part of the aging process, helped along by lack of sleep at times, stress, not removing make up at night, not applying regular moisturizers to any area on the face.

A small pat of olive oil under the eyes at night, no rubbing, just patting, will improve those fine lines over time; I find olive oil preferrable for several beauty treatments because its something I have in my kitchen at all times. Good for legs after shaving.

I even use it as a hot oil treatment. Heat about l-l/2 ozs. In a glass in microwave to just about warm, massage into hair well, apply a hot towel (achieved by soaking it in very hot water and wringing out) and leave on for five minutes. Shampoo as usual. Can be done every two weeks.

Are fine lines different to creases? So teenagers get creases?

Fine lines are about the same as creases, but may be less deep. Yes, teenagers can get creases. I'm 19 and I've had creases under my eyes for about a year. There are also products available that can reduce the appearance of lines. You can try eye creams from any drugstore brand like Garnier, Olay, Loreal, etc..

I don't know why anyone would spend money on products like Garnier, Olay, etc. if olive oil can do the same thing. I am 68 and have visibily reduced lines under eyes by using olive oil for a long time. But of course, any lines on face or neck are genetic as well, so what you get is deposited by your ancestors, which isn't such a bad thing, it is all character.

The skin under the eye is extremely sensative. From any age, you should use eye cream underneath the eye onto the skin to prevent or treat wrinkles and to protect the skin. This part of the face is prone to puffiness, dark circles, fine lines, and severe wrinkles. It it important to take care of your skin. Make sure you sleep and eat well, because diet and lifestlye affects your body. And I would recommend using an under eye cream daily as well.
