Is a roll up cigarette the same as a regular cigarette

Hi, alexis001!

It's one that is made by hand rather than by a machine. The smoker purchases their own tobacco to roll up in the cigarette paper.

So, it looks different than a regular, machine made cigarette. How it tastes, would depend on the type of tobacco that's used.

Thanks!

Nope. You roll your own cigarette with tobacco and "rolling papers".

Hand rolled cigarettes obviously don't have the filters that most pack cigarettes do. But some people like them because they are cheaper, and they go out when you set them down.

I have a carpenter friend who got tired of lighting up, taking a couple of drags, only to have the cigarette just burn down to ashes, sometimes making burn marks on his work.

Some people just like hand rolling their own.
