I have a roommate ,we both sign the lease ,now he wants to move out ,he want me to pay him half the deposit back! He is breaking the lease but he want me to pay he half the deposit so he can move across the street from me .he is still living here do he owe me rent for the month of April and do I owe him a deposit?? / help me

No, if he is on the lease, he can't just move, in fact until you replace him, he has to keep payig the rent

How can he expect you to pay him part of the deposit when you don't have any of it? Presumably your landlord is holding the deposit, and won't give it back until the lease is up. When and if you get the deposit back, would be time to consider giving the roommate his share. Not before. And you should deduct his share of the rent you had to pay. Looks like he is going to owe you more than the deposit.
