I have Austrian Citizenship, me and my husband want to visit our son in London, does my husband need a visitors visa?

As far as I understand EU requirements he will need a VISA. You won't but he will based ion HIS citizenship. I don't believe South Africa has an agreement of reciprocity with the EU as it does with say, the USA or Canada.
