My daughters father wants to give up all his parental rights. He doesn't pay child support and won't and that is why he wants to give me sole custody and terminate all his rights and responsibilities. So I am looking for the forms required. I can't afford a lawyer and legal aid is sending me around in circles! I just need the form so he and I can sign it, noterize it and be done! Plus I don't want/need his money. If he doesn't want this sweetheart in his life and wants off the hook, that's fine with me because Im not going to force him to have a relationship with her. And since I have family in Canada this would be better for her and I, so much easier to travel with sole custody!
Somebody help me with retrieving the form please!! Thank you in advance.

Oh and Ive read lots of others with similar post stating that the Mother's new husband has to want to adopt... well if that's the case he wants to and where are the forms for him to adopt her. Her Dad has also given my new husband permission to adopt her. Pretty cut and dry situation. The whole arrangement is mutual... So where do I start?

You start by getting a lawyer. Since there is an adoption that is going to take place you really need one. It shouldn't be that expensive if all parties are agreeing. Just make sure that you have been married for longer then a year.

Sorry no fill in the blank forms to sign. And a notorary is merely a legal witness, it does not make it "Legal" it has to be filed in court, ok'ed and signed by a judge.
Unless a step parent wants to adopt, he is not going to get to sign his rights over.
Also of course it is not "YOUR" money it is the child's money that they should be getting, no matter your opinion. You can put it into a college fund, or an retirement plan even. By not forcing the child support you are taking away from the child.
