My ex-husband never paid child support and I have raised both of my children without his financial help. In the original divorce papers it says he has to pay child support but never did. Now the children are 28 & 32 and really could use these funds. Can I sue my ex-husband for back child support in Oklahoma?

Did you ever pursue him for the support or is it mentioned "only" in the divorce papers?

It was to support the children, who are now grown, and I don't see grounds for attempting to collect at this time.

Just because they need the money now is no excuse for you not going after him legally when they were under 18 and you could do so. You've waited too long to do anything about it. You have only yourself to blame for not attempting to collect years ago. You could attempt to do this but you will have to go through an attorney in order to do this properly as I am sure that he will fight you tooth and nail to have it thrown out.
