I am looking for an old 80's children's movie. I am a little shady on the details. What I remember of the movie is that there was a little boy playing street hockey and a women from an upstairs apartment begins yelling at him. When he gets upstairs you realize that this woman is his aunt and she is yelling at him for bring home the wrong kind of crackers for his uncle the boy runs away and goes to a local grocery store where the woman behind the counter gives him a "magic" apple and shortly after he eats it things begin to happen and then the next thing I remember he is riding on a huge head of some sort possibly a drangons head (no I am not thinking of Never Ending Storey) where is taken to a hidden kingdom where either his father or both his father and mother live and have been living... but that's all I can remember.
