My a/c unit indoors (condo) is 2 yrs old. The unit outside is 1 year old. I may have a sensitive nose, but it smells damp/mold coming from my vents when the air is on. I live on the second floor, corner unit, one floor above me.

Yes, I live in S. Florida and it is humid, however I shouldn't be smelling mold. I have no leaks anywhere. I leave my air on 75-77 degrees everyday.

What can I do? Any suggestions on how I can get the air to smell nice?

Thanks, Scotty13

Does it do it with just the fan on? Or does the ac have to be running?

No, it's the ac.

They make a spray called enviro-con kills mold and bacteria as well as smoke and oders. You can pice it up at any hvac company. Is your condo 2 yrs old? Or the ac? If the condo is new. You may need your coil cleaned if the unit was ran durning construction.

No the condo was built in 1984. The A/C units are new. I keep my house clean. I don’t suffer from any allergies, sneezing anything like that.
