I'm trying to figure out the name of a 90's movie, which may be considered a classic by some, I remember one of my friends berating me for not having seen it all; and I think it is also a comedy. The only scene I ever saw portrayed a disheveled guy (who I believe was wearing an overcoat and may have been hung-over - perhaps coming off a rough night); he's walking through streets of a big city (possibly NYC?) with all sorts of crap and chaos going on around him. It's a journey to get where he's going, and when he walks through the door he is greeted by someone (I think it was one of his buddies) with some smart- comment, that was of course complete irony with what he just went through. Can anyone help me figure this out? (Sorry it's so vague, this is all I have... )

Possibly 'Trading Places', with Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd?
