Whenever I tell them something they always boss me around and yell at me and I hate it!

Yeah my parents do the same thing. And yeah it is annoying. But what I do is ignore it. And if that doesn't work I will do something to take my mine off it or I might just cry it all out. But this stuff doesn't happen 24/7 though. Just really with my dad. But I just ignore it. But there have been some good times though. I just wish my life was better. But oh well. Goodluck. And wish you the best! :)

It depends. What are they yelling at you about? Are you doing things that are against their rules?

I don't agree with yelling, but most parents yell when their children are disobeying them, not following the rules that they've set up for their home.

Is that what's going on here?

Even though this is old I just want to let you I did mean ignore your parents and not do what they say. I meant is when they yell at her just ignore it like in the sense as just don't mind it. So if you think that, that is not what I meant and sorry you took it that way.

I agree with some of what's written in above replies, however if your parent is shouting at you for the sake of it, or even if they have a valid reason in their eyes, its still wrong, its us as parents responsibility to show our children that any violence verbal or physical is wrong, it merely teaches the child that violence is OK, even if we feel justified at yelling we are setting a bad example, without knowing more about why these parents are yelling at the child though I cannot offer any sound advice to the child in question.
