I have been wanting A hamster since I was six and they won't let me. My moms says they carry too much germs and my dad says that I don't even take care of my 2 dogs and that's a lie because I'm the only one who plays with them and feeds them. Please help!

Hamsters need a lot of care. So your dogs, do parents have to "tell" you to care for them?

Keep a chart, of your care so you can prove you are taking care of them

Next who is going to pay for the hamster, the cage, the wheel, the bedding, the food.

Chuck, I had to spread the rep, but I agree.

I have 3 dogs, 4 bunnies, a bird and 2 fish. My kids swore up, down, left right and center that they'd care for them. Guess who really does? Me.

Just getting them to give the rabbits water is a fight.

Having said that, there's more to caring for an animal then giving it food, taking care of it. Unless you're paying for the food, the cage and the hamster itself, you are not a responsible owner, you're just a recipient of someone else's generosity, namely your parents.

Try earning the money to buy everything, maybe then your parents will let you get the hamster.
