Hi, I moved into my house 5 years ago. The previous owners made the garage into a room. They put up a temporary wall and put a unit in that wall. They told us that when we turn it on we must open the garage door a tiny bit. A man from the gas company was just out to changesomething. I talked to him about the unit and he said there is enough space in the garage and there is concrete floors I don't need to open the garage door a little bit when the unit is on. Can any one help me? I want to be able to turn it on without opening the garage door. Do you know if thats possible? I hope this doesn't sound confusing. Thank you!

The only thing that will happen is you will get some warm air in your garage. No reason you can not run it with the door down.
