hey, I have a 99 jetta and for some reason every time I get in the car, the trunk light doesn't go off on the dash and it constantly beeps. I used to be able to slam down the trunk and it would stop for a bit, but I can't do that anymore. My car alarm has gone off randomly as well since then and I think it has to do with it as well. Any ideas about how to get it to shut off or fix it?

Mmm, well, just don't get in the Jetta and the trunk lite will go back to normal. Sorry...
