I recall a movie scene about 35 years ago. I BELIEVE it was either Rock Hudson or James Garner as a bachelor. In the scene, he is sleeping in bed and, instead of an alarm clock, the bed begins to move as the sheets are automatically pulled off him and the bedroom wall opens up to reveal a swimming pool. The bed moves towards the pool and eventually the sleeping man slides from the bed and into the pool to wake up refreshed. I can't remember anything else, but I can remember that being the coolest thing I'd ever seen at the time. It seems to me it was one of those Doris Day, fluffy movies... I've been wondering about that scene for a loooong time. Anyone?
