We had put in new grass that's been close to two years. Now we are having crab grass. We had weeds but bought Spectricide to kill those, but problem with crab grass. Help, have any ideas, suggestion or anything. Something that won't hurt our lawn. Besides we live in central tx. We had good grass for the first two yrs. Now this. Does anybody think cat poop has anything to do with it. B/c we always had neighbors cats come and poop all over our lawn. Disgusting. Now the cats are gone. Ever since then we started getting crab grass. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Scott's has come out with a product that kills crabgrass and weeds. You put it on the lawn and it is suppose to kill both.

Getting out all the plant by the roots and make sure it never flowers so never drops seeds.. You will adventually get rid of it all.. I have almost won the battle!
