My basement was roughed in for a bathroom. I finshed the bathroom a few years ago and now I want to add a wet bar. Out of the concrete floor are two 2" pvc pipes 1 is going straight up to the ceiling (I assume that is the vent pipe) and the other comes up about 2 feet and connects to the vent pipe. ( that is where I tapped in for the drain in the bathroom)

I need to know if I can drain the wet bar to the vent pipe going (1st pipe) cause I have no room to attach a fitting to the second pipe. I don't know if both drain to the injector pump.

Also for the wet bar sink do I need a vent pipe attached? Cause where the sink is there is no way I can run another pvc pipe to attach to the existing vent.

Can you post a photo of your lay out ?

The pipe running floor-to-ceiling may be sewer ejector vent. If so, you should not connect to it...

You can see from the second pic that there is no room for me to attach the pipe.

OK! I'm going to assume that the "vent pipe" has fixtures draining into it from up above. Is that correct? Not to worry, simply cut in a AAV(see image) just after the trap and connect to the vent line.
Good luck, Tom

So both pipes coming from the ground connect to the injector pit?

Oatey No. 39012 Abs Cheater Vent - 39012 at The Home Depot (http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xi3/R-100204205/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053)

As for using a AAV would this be OK

So both pipes coming from the ground connect to the injector pit?
Yes, one is the pump discharge line and the other is the dedicated pit vent.
You Can not connect to either pipe. However you may connect to the lavatory drain line. Good luck, Tom
