My SK-26H240S LCD TV is less than a year old. It is a refurbished TV. I cannot turn the screen on either by remote or manually without it just rhythmically flickering back and forth between a clear lit screen and small horizontal pinstripe pattern with a low clicking noise. I have to unplug the screen to get it to stop or sometimes click the "source" button on the side several times. Any suggestions on what's wrong with it? Thank you.

Sounds like the panel, but I don't deal a ton with repairing TVs. Chances are whatever it is, is probably not economical to repair. I would start looking at possibly getting a new TV, at least until someone can provide a more definitive answer.

If you can, try to post some pictures of the screen when it has these horizontal stripes.
