This movie was on t.v. and a few hours long [or seemed longer than some movies]. I remember a couple details from this movie:

The main concept of the movie I think was about a young women torn between doing what her parents want her to do and what [or who] she loves. In one scene she is in a woody area with her mother [I am not sure if she had a father] and gets out of a carriage. She tells her mother that she will not go to college, and instead will marry this man that she loves throughout the movie. I think that she does go and marry him and the story focuses on their life together.

Also there is one scene where this young woman and the man she is married to are in a pool indoors alone, and he is drinking champagne and keeps trying to take off her bathing suit, and as she is more annoyed by these attempts he apologizes claiming "it's just the champagne".

Thank you.

Also I'm not sure but there may have been a scene in this movie where the young women was taking part in a women's right's movement [probably 1920s].

I was probably watching it around 2003? Maybe 2004 somewhere aroudn there. It may have been on the hallmark channel I feel like. But it was on for hours during a holiday like columbus day or maybe a more significant one.
This scene was definitely in it, if any movie experts on here could help me:

[along with all the other details listed above]
The man and girl where in a pool alone in a room and he was drinking champagne out of a glass and he kept trying to remove her bathing suit top and she kept stopping him and he kept saying things like it's the champage or I'm sorry it's just the champagne. Thanks if anyone finds this!!
