I need some help... I had a old hunter thermostat on my heater but it wouldn't turn on my cooling it was hooked up (RH-jumped to RC) and a red wire went to RC... W-White wire... G-Green wire... Y-Yellow wire and was set on (STD) not (HP) on back of thermostat but when I kicked on the cooling it wouldn't blow cool air just warm...

So I bought a new hunter thermostat and Hooked it up like Y2-Yellow wire... RC/R-Red wire... W2-White wire... G-Green wire... B-Blue wire... and O-Orange wire... and put it in Heat Pump mode... But now I get cool air but when I switch over to HEAT I get nothing... The fan will not even kick on when I call for heat... What do I need to do to GET HEAT?. help

'Thanks

Did you do a jumper from rc to rc?, you will be lucky if the Hunter is any good,, most are junk
