Choice 1. File nonresident tax return. Claim moving expenses for family if not reimbursed by your employer or reported as income on W-2. With exemption of $3650 and moving expenses deduction, you may not have any taxable income.

Choice 2. File joint return as residents and claim your child. Wait to file tax return till you complete SPT in 2010.
On joint return, both of you must report worldwide income for 2009. Your U.S. Tax Return: The U.S. Visas (http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/08/us-visas.html)
