Why do you pee before you get in the shower ? Maybe its because you are thinking of running water. Your mom must know you wet the bed, she has to wash the bedding, right ? Or maybe you don't wet it that much to be noticeable. She hasn't mentioned anything to you?
It isn't a bad thing to wet the bed. There are many reasons for that happening. Try not drinking a lot of fluids before you go to bed and possibly your bladder has to be stronger yet to eliminate that worry.
I think you should talk this over with your mom.

Hi, not. Don't know how old you are but yes, anyone will respond that way to running water. It is a way to get youngsters potty trained while on the toilet, running the tap. The sound makes them want to pee.
If you are very young, your bladder may not be up to full capacity yet, not fully developed and that's why you are having t his problem. If you are older, have your doctor send you for a test to a urologist who will test your bladder to see how strong it its and if not, will recommend a solution. This is an extreme suggestion, but you get the point?
If you want to be safe, wear a pull up to bed, or wear a good strong insert in your panties just to catch what is leaking.
As I mentioned in my first post, don't drink any liquids before going to bed and make sure to empty your bladder before going to sleep. This may help with the problem.

At 10 it's not unusual to still wet the bed, many kids have the same issue, some up until they're in their teens.
You really need to tell you parents so you can be checked by a doctor, make sure there isn't a medical reason for this.
Once that's ruled out (if it is) then there are ways to help. There are even devices that you place under your sheet that will alert you at the first sign of wetness, therefore training your brain to wake up when you start to pee while asleep.
You really do need to tell mom and dad. It's nothing to be ashamed of, many kids are in the same boat you're in.

Not, you had better read the forum basics if you want to stay. You don't give another member a reddie if they are making a statement. You give them a reddie if they are not factually correct. Your reddie is not in that category. But I don't know some eight year old kids here, I only know a l0 year old that should not be here. This is an information forum, not, and there is no way you could ever answer questions and give advice on say, plumbing, electricity, cars, relationships, etc.
