I am not aware of how this q and a works but I have raised my son since he was born. He is now two and a half. My ex was just released from jail and his family is saying he is trying to get a paternity test done. He is on probation and has made terroristic threats towards me. The charges were some how dropped and I am worried that if he goes to court and proves he is the biological father that he will get visitation. I have worked hard to raise my son and I should have all the rights with my baby. I can not afford a lawyer and I am in desperate need for advice. Please...

Of course if he goes to court and proves he is the father he can get some level of visits. Most likely supervised, at least to start, but you will have to fight in court to stop him from getting very much.

You can ask for him to take parenting classes, for him to meet with couselor to get used to his child and more.

It is up to the court as to what it will order.

His criminal record ( you can try and show the threats and the evidence you had before) and try and stop visits but most likely the court will allow at least supervised visits
