I have had my neon tetras for almost a year now, and I noticed about a week or so ago that one of them has a somewhat bloated stomach. Its color is fine and it is swimming fine so I figured it was pregnant, but when I sat there watching it, I noticed that the bump was moving. It would go from one long bump along its stomach to two bumps then to one big bump near the front and then one big bump in the back of its stomach, and it also goes to three little bumps. I haven't had an opportunity to take pictures because the flash to actual picture time is too slow and it turns out blurry. It was suggested that it is a parasite maybe, but I haven't been able to find information backing this up... I don't know what to do with the fish, help and suggestions would be great

You could always try calling a pet store, they may have info. Calling a vet to ask also might help, but I don't think many vets know a lot about fish (I could be wrong) There is a parasite medication you can buy it is safe to use if the fish doesn't have a parasite (it is meant for large aquariums with multiple fish) and it treats most parasites. I have never used it but I heard some people talking about it not to long ago.

The first thing you need to do is isolate that fish.
Have you added any new animals to the tank recently? Changed anything? How do you treat the water before you add it to the tank?

More than likely worms. You're going to want to treat the whole tank...
