Hi all, I am based in dubai and follow british standards. I joined a new firm now and they need electrical design for a big restaurant drawing around 1000kva power. The voltage is 120/208v US specs...
I am only familier with BS stds of 230/400v system... can somebody please help me , in the following..
1. what are the important chnages in design I should keep in mind while designing an electrical system in US specs. My system is basically running in generator and no transformer will be there for supplying power.
2. what type of earthing system I should choose to run a 1000kva load in generator.
3.what will be the specs of the available MCCBs and RCCBs for the MDBs and final DBs.
4. what are the design requiremnts for distribution panels.

Is there any books or website where I can get the american std of design?? Please help, its really really urgent
