I use Firefox as my home page but now find it parially replaced by an american version of igoogle! The Firefox page is underneath as I can see about 6cm of it at the top of the screen. Also missing is the toolbar containing tools, view, etc. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox to no avail I have also set Firefox as my home page ininternet preferences but no luck. Please advise, thanks.

Is it perhaps an add-on in the Firefox programing?Look in tools, top of page, and see if this is simply an add-on which you can disable.

If not,try this, left click on the bottom of the page,go to task manager,Processes,User name till your name(user name) is on the top of the lists, see if there is a listing for the igoogle thread being used, if it is,left click that specific title and end process
This will stop that particular program from running.

If it turns off the entire internet connection, don't worry, you can simply restart.

If it does, this igoogle has attached to your internet profile and would need to be removed... (add and remove programs)
