It can metabolize at different rates, but for the most part(I am guessing as I am not a professional, just a person who uses it daily),that within a few days of the last use there wouldn't be any in the urine, within a week,in the blood.
Any reason you have this concern?

Zoloft/sertraline should not produce a positive urine test, as it is not a drug that is tested for by urinalysis.
However, a confounding factor has emerged. Zoloft can sometimes produce a false positive for benzodiazepine use, according to a 2009 article in Psychiatry.
See False-Positive Urine Screening for Benzodiazepines: An Association with Sertraline? (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2728940/)

Yes, I have been testing positive for benzo's. I spoke to my pharmacist and he printed me a page that the sertraline in zoloft gives our a false positive so I am not taking this drug anymore. It's caused me a big problem and I want it out of my system.

Was the problem with the test or the Zoloft? I'm particularly interested in false positive tests as a means to assist others or hopefully prevent problems. When a specific drug, in this case Zoloft, is repeatedly linked to a false reading, there should always be a confirmatory test before it is reported.
