One suggestion is that it refers to Standard Accounting Practice as applicable according to UK GAAP.
Another suggestion may be Systems Application and Products
Again there is a firm named SAP based in Germany which develops Enterprise Resource Planning software.
Perhaps you may have also heard that Siemens AG is conducting SAP programs in different countries. SAP is similar to Oracle Financials.
