My 1995 Goodman Gas furnace with hot surface ignition tries to start when the thermostat calls for heat. The Draft Inducer Motor powers up for less than a second than quits. Circuit Board gives steady LED before and after resetting the furnace. Draft Inducer spins freely and Draft Inducer Motor was trying to start the day before, 2 or 3 times and cutting out in less than a second before it kept running and furnace fired up. I checked all connections and am leaning towards a board problem. What does a pro think?

OK... its the board. I checked the board again for loose connections and tried pushing on one of the black boxes on the board and the furnace kicked on all the way. VERY nice to see blue flames again in upstate NY! So, it looks like I need to try to fix this board or order another one. I think I'll order a board and try to fix this one. Nice to have a backup...

The "black boxes" on the board are relays. If applying pressure affects operation, check the back of the board for melted/burned solder connections near the relay. If OK, the relay contacts may be burned/pitted.
