Hi, We have a single handle Moen "mixer" faucet in the kitchen that is about 20 years old. When you move the handle to ask for hot water, it is only luke warm. The water at the other faucets in the house is nice and hot. I am suspicious that the kitchen faucet no longer "mixes" correctly, but I can't find any problems like that in your FAQ, so I am asking... does it sound logical that the problem is the faucet? If the answer is "yes", then I assume I would just replace the cartridge. Is that right?
Thanks for any information you guys can provide. Jerry

Yes, I would definitely start by replacing the cartridge. Let us know how it goes.

Hello Elruus,

First of all you should not put your address in your post, second you need to start your own thread that it will have more visibility that all the experts will be able to see it and will respond to you.
The only thing that I can suggest is to replace them or contact Moen at 800-284-6636 if they are covered by the warranty Moven will send you new ones for free or they will tell you what to do, Thanks.
