Hey Everyone.
I heard from a few of my friends that this is a great site for advice. So here I am.
I'll try and make this short and sweet. I met a girl about a month ago. We talked for a little bit and exchanged numbers. We would text off and on and have good conversation.
I asked her out to dinner and she said "Yeah, I would like that, but I'm kinda talking to someone right now so I can't promise anything" I said that's fine, but I would really like to get to know her. She said that was sweet and that dinner sounds nice. All this time her aunt was seriouslly ill in the hospital. She had cancer. We were suppose to hang one day 2 weeks ago, but she said she couldn't because she had to go to the hospital. Which is totally understandable. She apologized and said she was really sorry. I told her there's no need to apologize and told her not to worry about it at all, and not to worry about making plans until things get better with her aunt.
She text me the next day and said "HEY! Sorry about yesterday, but I would love to see you soon! When are you free? We made plans and her aunt ended up passing away that day. So obviouslly we didn't hang out. I told her if she needed anything or wanted to talk ill be here for her. She said "Thanks, your so sweet" That was a week ago. We still text but sometime she seems like she's not interested and sometimes she does. She will ask when we are hanging out and dinner sounds really good. Then sometimes she will keep our convos short. Any help?

So she asked when you guys are going to hang out?
What did you say to that?

Seems like an opening to me.

I gave her my schedule. And she said cool, ill let you know, but all my days I was free past... I don't have off till Friday... Should I just stop txting her? Or should I just now and then drop a text to make plans

I told her if she needed anything or wanted to talk ill be here for her and gave her my schedule
You sound like a salivating puppy dog, and of course she can sense it.

She said "Thanks, your soo sweet"
Next she'll tell you later she just wants to be friends.

Yeah, stop texting her. If she was super interested she would have made time already.
I know you're hungry but just let it rest. Try another fish in the mean time.

You wouldn't be so fixated on one if you dated others for fun.

I asked her out to dinner and she said "Yeah, I would like that, but I'm kinda talking to someone right now so I can't promise anything"

Seems that's what she is doing. And that's what I would be doing too!

Talaniman Rule - Date them all, short, fat, skinny, or tall. 18- 80, blind cripple or crazy.

Why would you wait on a stranger to have fun when you can have fun while you wait for the schedules to come together? And if they don't guess what, you will still be enjoying yourself. So have fun, and check her later. No big deal!

Tal said it all - get out there and date other girls. Don't stand around all hung up on a girl you've never even gone out with. There's plenty of great girls out there.
