Hi I am 25 years old and have had problems with my periods since I had my son 2 years ago some months are normal then I can miss out a month and when I do come on I last for 4 weeks and is very heavy with large clots I have tried going on the pill but I bleed when I was taking it and didn't when it was the 7 day rest just woundering if there is anything else I can do to get them back to normal and if this is normal after you have had a child

Some irregularity after a child is normal. 2 years later is a little worrisome, especially with how much you are bleeding. Did you only try one pill? Or did your dr let you try a few different ones to see if another worked better for you? Every pill is different just like every woman is. You really need to talk to your dr though and make him or her help you figure out why you are bleeding so much
