I have an oil burning furnace with an AC attachment inline, connected to the compressor (I'm assuming) which is located outdoors. I have to move both the furnace and the compressor and to do this I need to disconnect them at the furnace. I have a feeling we have refridgerant in the unit and I wanted to do this as safely and properly as possible, any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm a LV electrical contractor (AV, automation, IP net's ect) so HVAC is not something I know anything about. Thanks for the time.

If the lines have refrigerant inside(which it does) it has to be recovered before the lines can be removed or the outside A/C unit installed in a different place. You need an EPA cert to perform this service and you also need a special recovery unit and storage tank. Contact a local HVAC company to perform this service and you should have no problems.
