Hi. I've read the threads on MyHD colour removal and they are great BUT I was wondering how many times does it have to be applied to remove perm black dye? I used it yesterday and it appears to have worked on the roots-prob because they have the least dye but I have dyed it about 6 times so I worry it won't work and am hoping it will just take a few tries. ALSO are you supposed to literally see the colour washing out afterwards?

I used it to remove a build up of black hair colour, I did ask for some tips first, they told me I should use the bulk of the colour remover on my ends, and to wash out thoroughly really scrubbing the ends with shampoo at least three times. You won't see the colour running out. And maybe if you have lots of black they do say you may need to use it more than once, but mine worked after one go.
