I went to 'view'; 'toolbar' and turned off menu toolbar. How do I get it back?

Try holding down "Alt+V" to see if you get the view menu to pop up.

If that doesn't help, we'll need more information.

Is it the main toolbar in your browser? Try to rightclick the bar that your main menu should appear then select "Menu Bar"

Boy oh boy, the mouse age has softened all of you.

Since the DOS age, ctrl and alt key combinations have been standard on almost every platform known to man.

In IE just tap the "Alt" key and you will see your toolbar with the file menu highlighted. I like to hide mine sometimes to keep family members annoyed with my computer.
