Hi Icoop14, you give little info to go on, does the dryer make any noise when you try and start it? Have you checked the breaker or fuse? Good luck

After you have verified the dryer has power by turning off the circuit breaker and turning it back on or testing/replacing the 2 fuses, there are only a few reasons this can happen. The most common is a blown thermal fuse inside the rear panel of the dryer just to the left of the exhaust opening. It's white and thin, held in place by 1 screw, and has 2 thin blue wires attached to it. If this fuse is blown, it means the exhaust temp exceeded 190 degrees. That can happen if the heating element has broke and part of it is touching something metal. If the heater is OK, then the answer is to replace the operating thermostat (just to the right of the thermal fuse). That's usually as far as you would need to go to find the solution. All of these parts should be readily available at a local part house or the internet. To sum it up, you will always replace 2 parts for a blown thermal fuse. Either the fuse and heater or the fuse and thermostat. The thermal fuse is a safety component, and is there to shut the dryer down when a failure occurs so fires don't result.
