I need to write a memo. I just graduated and decide to start a retail business, my investor a wealthy patriarch of my chosen industry is concerned w/ my inexperience and wants to make sure I understand internal controls and that I'm going to set up a solid internal control structure. I need to write a memo which includes ideas for a least 5 internal controls-some of which need to surround cash receipts and payments.

So what ideas do you have so far? I'd be upset if I were your investor and found out you had someone else write the whole memo. I think a more honest way to go about this is share your ideas and get feedback from others-it sort of sounds like you're asking for someone to do it for you on here.
