Hello, my name is Courtney Lee. My fiancé and I think I am pregnant...
Well during the past 4 weeks, I've had some headaches, backaches, dizzy spells (with no vomiting), frequent urination, my breasts have gotten bigger and more sensitive to the touch, and fatigue...
Late last night (3/12/10), I had sort of light pinkish spotting occur, with period-like cramping, with backaches... As the hours continued, it got stronger, and a lot more redder/darker. Much like a regular period... Haven't really had any clots. My regular menstration doesn't start until the 15th of each month... But this time, it was the 12th... Have I miscarried, or is there any possibility that I could/still be pregnant?

Did you ever get a positive pregnancy test? It sounds more like your period came early. "pregnancy symptoms" really aren't the most reliable way to determine if you are pregnant or not. There so many other things that can cause all of them.

No, we haven't taken a pregnancy test yet... I wasn't sure when the right time to take one would be, because I really want a correct answer.

Usually you take a pregnancy test after you've missed a period.

I agree. It sounds like your period is 3 days early.

That's common - its actually unusual to have your period start on the same day each month.

Also, what makes you think you'd be 4 weeks 2 days? While pregnancy IS counted from the first day of your last period, implantation after the egg is fertilized does not occur for 7-10 days after you ovulate. Meaning, you wouldn't feel symptoms (at the earliest) until a week before your missed period.
