The word equation is the reaction written in words.

For example, this reaction:

HCl + NaOH \rightarrow NaCl + H_2O

In this, you have hydrochloric acid, HCl,
Sodium hydroxide, NaOH,
Sodium chloride, NaCl
Water, H2O.

So, it becomes:

Hydrochloric acid + Sodium hydroxide --> Sodium chloride + water.

Try the other now.
