I am a non resident alien from India in a L1 visa to US, while filing the tax for 2009 I have filed the 1040EZ form instead of 1040NR, What do I do now? I filed the tax with help of a tax filing company.

When did you enter the U.S. Are you single or married? L1 tax filing: Your U.S. Tax Return: The U.S. Visas (http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/08/us-visas.html)

If I am not eligible to fill the 1040EZ form how do I correct it now? Please let me know the way to clear this as I went to a well known tax company but they did this. Is this a mistake?

You will file Form 1040X (amended tax return) with properly done nonresident tax return.
If you did not claim moving expenses (if not reimbursed by employer), attach Form 3903 to claim the expenses.
Pay tax due on or before April 15, 2010.
