Out of the blue while driving, my 92 Accord lost 2nd and 4th gear. It's an automatic. I have to manually put it in 1st when I take off from a stop, then shift up, but only goes in 3rd no matter if I keep shifting up to 2nd or 4th gear. Please Help!

It sounds like several clutch packs (2nd and 4th) are shot. It will likely require rebuilding or replacing. ATXs are the weak link in FWD vehicles and they require babying. In the future, only use full-synthetic ATF (e.g. Mobil 1 Multi-Vehicle Synthetic ATF or Amsoil Synthetic Universal ATF), changing it every 30,000 miles. It's an easy job on Hondas.

What is a "Clutch Pack"? And where is it located on my Accord? And if it's an easy fix, what parts do I need and where would I get them? And what steps do I take? Not the WHOLE process of coarse...
Thanks a bunch!

Oh, and my Honda Accord is not a Stick Shift... it's an automatic...

It's the automatic clutch assembly, located inside the transmission. It's a major job best left to the dealer.
I gave you the spiel on synthetic ATF so that you'll use it in your automatic transmission, once it's rebuilt or replaced.
While you can still drive it, I would take it to the dealer for repair. If you wait too long, you'll have to tow it in. This is my opinion from afar. You should get a second opinion for sure. Engine and transmission work is best left to the dealer or a local shop that specializes in Hondas.

Here's what a clutch pack looks like:

Were any codes thrown? I don't think it's an electrical problem; instead, I think it's a mechanical issue where an old transmission is worn out.

I would be surprised if the clutches for 2nd and 4th gear are not shot. It's likely only a little while until the other clutches go.
